What Does It Takes to Make Your Goals a Reality.

Thanks for joining me in my fourth blog on personality development. As a digital artist l'm inspired by helping others to achieve their goals and life long ambitions. In this series of articles I will take you on a journey to empower you to believe you.....

Throughout the series, I have used some of my artwork to inspired and motivate you to unleash and develop what I describe as your true gift, which will take you from A - B. You can view more of my art at http://www.elainedaley.com.

It's much to do with having a get up and go mentality, there are no other
special requirements to achieving your life goals. The important thing is to start off with the right mentality and approach to whatever it is you want to achieve.

The wonderful thing about this is that…

IT DOESN’T MATTER how old you are…
IT DOESN’T MATTER
whether you’re male or female…
IT DOESN’T MATTER
what level of education you have…
IT DOESN’T MATTER
what social background you come from and…
IT DOESN’T MATTER
how much experience you have…
The truth is the only thing stopping you from achieving your realistic goals is you. There are so many opportunities for you to explore, but you can't do it with a no can do mentality.

Step 1 to Your Personal Development Goals

To build your blueprint to achieving your goal(s) make a list the reasons why you want to achieve your goal(s). Then put these next to a list of the consequences of not achieving it.
This may sound like a time-consuming exercise, but I assure you that it is time very well spent. It will provide you with greater focus and direction, so that you can better appreciate why you want to make meaningful changes in your life and the driving force behind this.

Bear in mind, however, that you should never do anything out of fear or desperation. Most of us are moved to act because of the consequences of not doing something, rather than the results of what it will achieve. However, your actions should not be born out of fear, but rather a genuine need to get to a place where you feel self-fulfilled.

What's your purpose in life
The American television personality, Oprah Winfrey, said that: “Everyone wants to fulfil the highest, truest expression of themselves as a human being,” and that: “A lot of people don’t know their purpose, and it your don’t know your purpose your immediate goal is to figure that out, because otherwise you’re just wondering around aimlessly.”
She goes on to state that, “The moment you can figure out what it is that you’re supposed to be doing, the sooner you are able to get about the business of doing that.”
Oprah’s life was fuelled when she discovered her true gift, and this in turn fuelled her actions. The important thing is to realise where you are now, not where you’re going to be. Just because you haven’t achieved what you set out to in the past, doesn’t mean that your life will always be that way. As I said before, you need to believe that you have the power to attain your goals, because if you believe you. In my next article I will focus on your list of goals set out in step one and how exactly you can turn your goals into a reality...so stay tuned...
